FAA selects Aerobytes

Aerobytes is delighted to announce that the FAA Office of Aviation System Standards (AVN) has selected their Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) software for AVN's Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) program to advance the use of flight-recorded data to achieve improvements in safety, training, and maintenance troubleshooting.

AVN is the FAA organization responsible certifying instrument flight procedures and the equipment upon which they are based for the United States, the U.S. military, and by contract to air traffic services in 42 other nations. They operate a fleet of 31 corporate size aircraft: King Air 300s, Hawker 125-800s, Lear Jet 60s, and Challenger 601/604s to perform their mission.

AVN selected the Aerobytes FDM software as most appropriate for their particular operations, missions, personnel resources, aircraft types, and associated parameters, including:

· Ability to define events and associated thresholds for both standard operations and special missions.

· Analysis and visualization capabilities

· Tools to track corrective actions.

· Drill down functions to allow users to go from the big picture to individual flights.

· Ease of use.

Training will be conducted in Oklahoma City.
